LITTLE BROUTLET
IN MÜNCHEN
Nathalie Zenker's second bridal fashion store is loca-
ted in Munich's Haidhausen district. The Little Broutlet
– a small boutique-style shop with a French touch – ful-
fills brides' wishes for an affordable dream dress. As
with the Say Yes Munich store, the premises with their
playful details were designed by Sebastian Zenker In-
terior Design.
W and sister of interior designer Sebastian Zenker — has demon-
ith "Say Yes Munich" Nathalie Zenker — former lifestyle editor
strated that she has a knack for elegant bridal fashion. She already
had her first store designed by her brother and his interior design of-
fice. Due to her success, Nathalie Zenker now expanded her business
to include the Little Broutlet. There she sells individual pieces, dresses
from previous collections and designer samples at attractive prices.
Only a few meters away from her main store, the small boutique is lo-
cated in the Wilhelminian-style quarter in Munich's Haidhausen di-
Grundriss • Floor plan strict. On only 70 square meters Sebastian Zenker succeeded to trans-
fer the French character of the neighbourhood into the contemplative
interiors of the shop. In terms of quality and noble materials, the bri-
dal fashion outlet should be in no way inferior to the main store. The
small floor plan accommodates a reception room, a showroom for the
elegant dresses, two dressing rooms, a toilet and a small kitchen for
employees including storage space. The reception room is bathed in
delicate pink and pistachio-green shades and offers presentation
areas for accessories; a massive counter and a neon sign welcome the
future brides. In the corridor area and showroom, the colour scheme
changes to royal blue on the walls in combination with saffron-yellow

trast with the rich blue and thus become the visual focal point of the
showroom. Finally, the dressing rooms are finished in rose and the
saffron yellow of the curtains. A wallpaper with a floral pattern in the
corridor area again takes up the colour scheme of the main rooms
and shows playful details without looking kitschy. Generously dimen-
sioned round mirrors form a connecting element between the indivi-
dual areas, allow the brides to see themselves in their potential dres-
ses from all sides and also visually expand the room. The circular ele-
ments are also reminiscent of rings, thus evoking associations of mar-
riage, bonding and fidelity.
