Im oberbayerischen Weyarn entstand nach den Plänen der Münch ner
Architekten Andreas Leupold, Wyly Brown und Christian Goldbach
von lbgo ein neuer Supermarkt. Der ist Teil eines grünen Dorfangers.
Um den umgebenden Freiraum zu schonen, integrierten die Architek-
ten das Volumen in eine neue Topographie, und so erstreckt sich der
Anger heute als begehbare Grünfläche über das Supermarktdach hin-
weg. Grün ist der Neubau allerdings nicht nur optisch, sondern auch
im Betrieb. Hier stellen die Architekten ihren Entwurf vor.

A new supermarket according to plans by the Munich architects An-
dreas Leupold, Wyly Brown und Christian Goldbach has been built
in Weyarn in Upper Bavaria. It is part of a village green. In order to
go easy on the surrounding open space, the architects integrated
the volume into a new topography and thus, today, the green ex-
tends as an accessible grassy area across the roof of the supermar-
ket. The new building is not only visually green, however, but also
in its operation. The architects here present their design.
