O nyx, Concrete und Prima, das sind die Namen der neuen Corian-
Farbgruppen von DuPont. Mit Strukturen, Farbverläufen und Tiefen -
wirkung will das Unternehmen aktuellen Trends und Stilvorgaben im
Wohn- und Objektbereich gerecht werden. Das vor 50 Jahren auf den
Markt gebrachte Oberflächenmaterial Corian eignet sich dank seiner
robusten und pflegeleichten Eigenschaften, der vielseitigen Verarbeitungs -
methoden und der dreidimensionalen Verformbarkeit neben dem Einsatz
im Innenausbau auch für Leuchten, Objekte, Möbel, Heizungen und be -
rührungsintensive Bauteile. Selbst an der Fassade lässt sich der acrylge-
bundene Mi neralwerkstoff verbauen. Drei Schlüsselwörter dienten dem
hauseigenen Team nun bei der Entwicklung der neuen Farbwelten als
Leitspruch: Wärme, Emotion und dynamische Modernität. Für Onyx ließ
man sich von dem gleichnamigen Stein inspirieren. Zwei Farben – Grau
und Weiß – stehen zur Wahl, die durchzogen von den charakteristischen,
halbtransparenten Adern des Originals mit einem eleganten Oberflächen -
spiel da her kommen. Concrete dagegen hält mit Carbon, Ash, Weathered
und Neutral vier zeitlose Farben bereit, die in neutralen Grautönen und
mit subtilen Farbverläufen dem modernen Industriedesign gerecht wer-
den. Ganze acht Farben gibt es bei der dritten Serie, Prima, im Angebot.

O nyx, Concrete and Prima are the names of the new Corian colour
groups by DuPont. With structures, colour gradients and a depth
effect, the company wants to do justice to current trends and style gui-
delines in the residential and the contract sector. In addition to its use
in interior fittings, thanks to its robust and easy-care qualities, the vario-
us processing methods and the three-dimensional deformability, the
Corian surface material brought to market 50 years ago is also suited
for luminaires, objects, furniture, radiators and high-touch building
components. The acrylic-based solid-surface material can also be
installed on façades. Three keywords have now been the motto serving
the company team for developing new colour worlds: warmth, emotion
and dynamic modernity. The inspiration for Onyx was the stone of the
same name. There is a choice of two colours – grey and white – charac-
teristic, semi-transparent veining of the original and with an elegant
appearance of the surface. Concrete, on the other hand, offers four
timeless colours with Carbon, Ash, Weathered and Neutral which, in
neutral shades of grey and with subtle colour gradients, go well with
modern industrial design. There are no less than eight colours in the
third series, Prima. Opulently pronounced patterns, particles of colour
and glitter as well as gradients characterize the look of the group in
equally natural colours which is just waiting to be put on display.
