Das Mettlacher Traditionsunternehmen Villeroy & Boch
setzt zum 275. Firmenjubiläum auf satte, der Natur ent-
lehnte Farben im Bad. Gesa Hansen entwickelte für die
BiColour-Waschtischserie Artis drei neue Farbtöne – Deep
Ocean, Frozen und Forest. Die deutsch-dänische Farbex-
pertin sieht diese Farben „als Gegenpol zur digitalen
Welt, in der Farben eher kalt und abgehoben wirken“.
Damit besteht das Artis-Portfolio nun aus 10 Farb- und
zwei Weißtönen. Die Aufsatzwaschtische sind in vier For-
men – rund, oval, quadratisch und rechteckig – erhältlich
und lassen sich mit Möbeln der Kollektionen Antao, Fi-
nion, Collaro und Legato kombinieren.

For its 275 anniversary, Villeroy & Boch, a company
with a long tradition in Mettlach, focuses on rich colours
from nature. Gesa Hansen developed three new shades
for the Artis BiColour washbasin series – Deep Ocean,
Frozen and Forest. The German-Danish colour expert
sees these colours “as an counterpole to the digital
world where colours tend to appear cold and aloof”. As
a result, the Artis portfolio now consists of 10 colour sha-
des and two white shades. The countertop washbasins
are available in four shapes – round, oval, square and
rectangular – and can be combined with furniture from
the Antao, Finion, Collaro and Legato collections.
