Olena Staranchuk, Kiew: „Der Lebensbaum ist eines der ältesten

Symbole in der ukrainischen Kultur und zeigt eine kontinuierliche
Verbindung mit den Wurzeln, die in die Zukunft wachsen. Wäh-

rend des Krieges gewinnt ein solches Symbol noch mehr an Be-

deutung, denn es zeigt Standhaftigkeit und den Glauben an eine

strahlende Zukunft der Ukraine.“ • „The tree of life is one of the ol-

dest symbols in Ukrainian culture, showing a continuous connec-

tion with its roots that grow into the future. During the war, such a

symbol becomes even more important because it shows steadfast-

ness and faith in the bright future of Ukraine.“
