Taktile Oberflächen, kleinteilige Mosaike, mehr als mannshohes Fein -
stein zeug, Fliesen in Terrazzo-, Teppich-, Textil-, Marmor- und Vin -
tage-Look... Spaniens Fliesen industrie inspiriert, stellte unsere
Kollegin Annette Weckesser fest! Dass manchmal eine einzige, klug
aus gewählte Keramik genügt, um Akzente zu setzen, bewiesen Pare -
des Pedrosa Arquitectos mit dem Wohnhaus Dos Viviendas. Keramik
„heile“ bei diesem Sanierungsobjekt „die Wunde der Wän de und
bedecke sie wie ein Teppich“, so die Architekten. Einfach poetisch!

Tactile surfaces, small-particle mosaics, more than head-high fine
stoneware, tiles looking like terrazzo, carpets, textiles, marble and
vintage ... No question, the Spanish tile industry is inspired! That, in
some cases, a single cleverly chosen section of ceramics is sufficient
for adding accents is proven by Paredes Pedrosa Arquitectos with
their Dos Viviendas residential building in Oropesa. According to
the architects, in this renovation project ceramics “cures the wound
of the walls and covers it like a carpet”. How simply poetic!
