Strukturiertes Echtholz und carbongrauer Mattlack: Valais überzeugt nicht nur optisch,
sondern auch durch die Anti-Fingerprint-Eigenschaft der Oberflächen. Bemerkenswert,
weil nahezu unsichtbar, ist der Übergang von der Arbeitsplatte zur Front – eine um lau -
fende Metallkante, die bündig mit den Fronten abschließt, macht es möglich. Front,
Arbeitsplatte und die horizontalen Griffleisten sind farblich aufeinander abgestimmt.
Structured genuine wood and carbon-grey matt lacquer: Valais convinces not only
visually but also due to the anti-fingerprint quality of the surfaces. Remarkable, since
almost invisible, is the seamless transition of the worktop to the front – made possible
by a surrounding metal edge which is flush with the front. The front, the worktop and
the horizontal handle strips are colour-coordinated.

Als Architekt und Bildhauer entwickelte Walter Wendel bereits früh eine besondere Affi-
nität für den Werkstoff Beton. Heute entwirft er an seine Projekte angepasste, monoli-
thische Küchenmöbel, die in Beton umgesetzt werden. Die Besonderheit an der Out-
doorküche ist der nahtlose Übergang von der Kücheninsel zur Sitznische. Partielle Licht-
inszenierungen und Einschnitte verleihen dem massiven Küchenmöbel Leichtigkeit.
As an architect and a sculptor, already early on Walter Wendel had a special affinity
with concrete as a material. Today, he designs monolithic kitchen furniture adapted
to his projects which is made of concrete. The special feature of the outdoor kitchen
is the seamless transition from the kitchen isle to the seating niche. Partial lighting
installations and incisions give lightness to the massive item of kitchen furniture.

Das Primitive Kitchen Tool, bestehend aus Schneideplatte und Werkzeug, ist multi -
funktional einsetzbar. Die Platte verfügt über verschiedene Vertiefungen, der Stein hat
eine stumpfe und eine scharfe Seite und kann gleichermaßen zum Schneiden und Mah-
len benutzt werden. Beide Teile bestehen aus dem Mineralwerkstoff Hi-Macs und ma -
chen sich Widerstandsfähigkeit und hygienische Eigenschaften des Materials zunutze.
The Primitive Kitchen Tool, consisting of a cutting platter and tools, can be used for a
multitude of functions. The platter has various hollows whereas the “stone” has a
blunt and a sharp side and can equally be used for cutting and grinding. Both parts
consist of the Hi-Macs solid-surface material and benefit from the resilience and the
hygienic qualities of the material.

nicht beschrieben werden. Jeder Würfel hat eine Kantenlänge von 90 Zentimeter, ist mit
einer zehn Millimeter dünnen Steinfront verkleidet und wurde von Firmengründer Domi-
nik Faber selbst entworfen. Das Element ist als Koch-, Arbeits- oder Spülmodul erhältlich,
Letzteres kann mit Naturstein-, Edelstahl- oder Keramikbecken ausgestattet werden.
… the English word “cube” for this product is the most accurate description of
the kitchen element from sio4. Each cube has an edge length of 90 centimetres, is
clad with a ten-millimetre thick stone front and was designed by the company
founder Dominik Farber himself. The element is available as a cooking-, work-
or sink module, the latter can be equipped with a basin of natural stone, stainless
steel or ceramic.
