             Effects like simulated water movements enhance the connection to the historical
             use of the spaces, inviting visitors to experience them with all their senses. Atelier
             Brückner, in collaboration with H5 Paris, developed a new branding concept that
             mirrors the hammam’s aesthetic. A vibrant blue colour scheme, a custom font by
             TBWA inspired by Iznik motifs along with Ottoman-influenced infographics define
             the visual identity. The digital accompaniment – from the interactive app to the web-
             site – extends the visitor experience with a virtual journey into the past. The app
             enables visitors to explore the rooms and their decorations in their original splen-
             dour through augmented reality features.

             Experience and use

             The gradual reopening began with a contemporary art exhibition, paving the way
             for the hammam to reopen as a fully functioning bathhouse and exhibition space
             in early 2024. This hybrid concept, combining learning and experience, establishes
             the Zeyrek Çinili Hamam as a one-of-a-kind destination in Istanbul. Overall, the Zey-
