N icht nur Blumensträuße, Kräuterkörbe und mit Blüten gespickte Haarkränze gehö-
ren zum Standardrepertoire von Potafiori, sondern auch ausgewählte Leckereien,
Weine, Porzellanwaren und Jazz-Musik. Ganz von seinen persönlichen Interessen gelei-
tet, etablierte der Inhaber mit seinem Laden einen facettenreichen Ort, der als Floristik-
hotspot mit Bistroflair und zugleich als blumiger Jazz-Club bezeichnet werden kann. Um
Gastronomie und Handel sinnfällig miteinander zu verbinden, schufen die Gestalter von
Storage Associti ein wertig-trendig und noch dazu behaglich-schummrig inszeniertes In-
terieur, das viel Entfaltungsraum für Kleinkonzerte, Bistrobetrieb und Floristik bietet. In-
einander verschnittene Quader mit Oberflächen in Sichtbeton, Terrazzo und Goldlack
bestimmen hier das Raumgefüge und sorgen im ansonsten dunkel gehaltenen Laden-
lokal für helle Kontrastpunkte und Textur. Neben zahlreichen Tischen entstehen auf
diese Weise mannigfaltige Settings für die effektvolle Präsentation von Blumensträußen
und Gestecken, die Leichtigkeit und immer wieder neue Farben ins Potafiori mit einzie-
hen lassen. Blumenüberbordende Tresen wechseln dabei je nach Tageszeit ihre Nut-
zungshoheit vom Verkaufscounter zur Empfangs- und Ausschanktheke bis hin zur ma-
lerischen Bühnenkulisse. Ein auf Strahlern basierendes Beleuchtungskonzept rückt zu
guter Letzt jede Nutzung ins passende, bisweilen szenisch-dramatische Licht. hs

N ot only bouquets, herb baskets and wreaths for hair brimming with blossoms
are part of Potafiori’s standard repertoire, but also selected delicacies, wines,
porcelain and jazz music. Entirely guided by his personal interests, the owner esta-
blished a multifaceted place in his shop that can be described as a floristry hotspot
with bistro flair and simultaneously as a flowery jazz club. In order to combine ca-
tering and retail in a meaningful way, the designers of Storage Associti created a
high-quality, trendy and – on top of that – cosy, dimly lit interior that offers plenty of
space for small concerts, bistro service and floristry. Interlocking cuboids with sur-
faces in fair-faced concrete, terrazzo and gold lacquer determine the spatial compo-
sition and provide bright contrasts and texture in the otherwise dark shop. In addi-
tion to numerous tables, this creates a variety of settings for the effective presenta-
tion of bouquets and flower arrangements that bring lightness and ever-changing
new colours into Potafiori. Depending on the time of day, the counters overflowing
with flowers change from sales counter to reception and bar counter to picturesque
stage backdrop. Last but not least, a spotlight-based lighting concept puts each use
in the appropriate, sometimes scenic and dramatic light.
