S einen Kunden eine zeitgenössische Sicht auf das traditionelle Handwerk der Flo-
risten zu geben und Floristikqualität für jedermann zugänglich und erfahrbar zu
machen, ist das erklärte Ziel des spanischen Franchiseunternehmens Mon Parnasse.
Studio Canobardin entwarf für das Unternehmen mit seinen aktuell acht Madrider Bou-
tiquen ein umfassendes Corporate Design. Als Grundlage für die Store- sowie die ge-
samte CI-Gestaltung diente das Leitbild eines „duftenden Pariser Blumenmarktes unter
freiem Himmel“, das von den Planern auf plakative Weise umgesetzt wurde. So wird
der Verkaufsraum als opulenter, vertikaler Blumengarten interpretiert, der mit Präsen-
tationsdisplays aus gelochtem weißem Metall ausgestattet ist. Das entlang der Wände
und in den Schaufenstern fest installierte Displaysystem findet sich auf der Verkaufs-
fläche als mobile Paraventvariante wieder, die es dank einhängbarer Regale und Topf-
stützen ermöglicht, immer neue Warenarrangements entstehen zu lassen. Decke und
Wände ziert dabei ein Himmelsmotiv, das durch die Verspiegelung einer ganzen Store-
wand und (in dem hier gezeigten Filialbeispiel) der verspiegelten unteren Hälfte sämt-
licher Stützen grenzenlose Weite suggerieren soll. Einziges, sich gestalterisch absetzen-
des Element ist der schlichte, in Grün gehaltene Arbeitstresen, der die Bühne für das
Floristikhandwerk darstellt und als kommunikativer Ankerpunkt dient. hs

G iving customers a contemporary view of the traditional florist’s craft and making
the quality of floristry accessible and tangible for everyone is the declared goal
of the Spanish franchise company Mon Parnasse. Studio Canobardin designed a
comprehensive corporate design for the company, which currently operates eight
boutiques in Madrid. The store design and the entire CI design were based on the
concept of a “fragrant Parisian flower market in the open air,” which was implemen-
ted by the designers in a striking way. For example, the salesroom is interpreted as
an opulent, vertical flower garden, which is equipped with presentation displays
made of perforated, white metal. The display system, which is permanently installed
along the walls and in the shop windows, is repeated on the sales floor as a mobile
partition, which, thanks to hook-in shelves and pot supports, allows ever new pro-
duct arrangements to be created. The ceiling and walls are adorned with a sky motif,
which is supposed to give the impression of boundless expanse due to the mirroring
of an entire wall and (in the store example shown here) the mirrored lower half of
all supports. The only element that stands out is the simple, green work counter,
which is the stage for the florist’s craft and serves as a communicative anchor point.
