SONDERAUSSTELLUNG IM NATURKUNDE-MUSEUM COBURG – VON LEONIE SEEMANN

Die Chinesische Mauer wurde als Leitmotiv auf allen Rückwänden angebracht und schrittweise abgetreppt. • The Great Wall was applied as the leitmotif to all the rear walls and gradually stepped.

Ausstellungskonzepte von Studierenden zeigen häufig sehr ausge-
fallene Ansätze – und das ist gut so! Doch manchmal steckt hinter
einer Aufgabe ein konkreter Bauherr, der reale Vorstellungen und
ein begrenztes Budget hat. Um sich auf diese „Wirklichkeit“ ein-
zustimmen, versuchte Leonie Seemann von der Hochschule Co-
burg, für das dortige Naturkunde-Museum umsetzbare Ideen mit
dem Besonderen zu verknüpfen. Entstanden ist eine interaktive
Präsentation von Tradition und Moderne in China.

Exhibition concepts freely created by students frequently show
very fancy approaches – and this is definitely a good thing! Some-
times, however, there is an actual client behind a task who comes
with his real ideas and a restricted budget. To familiarize herself
with this “reality”, Leonie Seemann from Coburg University set
out to combine ideas which can be implemented and those which
are far what is from ordinary. The result is an interactive presen-
tation between tradition and modernity in China.
