„Alles weglassen, was nicht nötig ist“, beschreibt Ronald Meijs seine
Gestaltungsphilosophie. Der Industriedesigner aus Maastricht hatte
bereits zahlreiche Fahrräder und Kinderwagen entworfen, bevor er
nun ein minimalistisches, elektrisches Zweirad auf den Markt brachte.
Jan Kliebe aus dem Architekturbüro MGF war nur allzu gerne bereit,
die Mischung aus Fahrrad und Mofa in und um Stuttgart zu testen,
und konnte sich für die liebevollen Retro-Designs und das lautlose,
entspannte Dahingleiten mit dem Meijs Motorman begeistern.

“Leaving out the things that aren’t necessary” is how Ronald Meijs
describes his design philosophy. The industrial designer from
Maastricht had already designed numerous bicycles and prams
when he recently placed a minimalist, electric two-wheeler on the
market. Jan Kliebe from the architectural office MGF was more
than happy to test the mixture of bicycle and small moped in and
around Stuttgart and got enthusiastic about the loving retro design
and the soundless, relaxed trips with the Meijs Motorman.
