Wer an Bierbraukultur denkt, hat nicht selten volkstümliche Bilder
von traditionell dunklen Schankräumen im Kopf. Doch natürlich geht
es auch anders: Fernab von bierseliger Stammtisch-Gemütlichkeit
zeigen Brauereien heute Sinn für den reinen Genuss und den Wert
ihres Handwerks, das mal über eine gläserne Produktion und mal via
Hopfenanbau-Museum sichtbar wird. Wir zeigen drei Brauereien in
Bristol, Tettnang und Montreal, die mit ihren Schankräumen Trans-
parenz, Diversität, Nachhaltigkeit und Inklusivität zur Schau stellen.

When you think of beer-brewing culture, it’s not uncommon to con-
jure up images of traditional dark taprooms. But of course, there is
another way: far removed from the cosiness of the regulars’ table,
breweries today are showing a sense of pure enjoyment and the
value of their craft, which is sometimes made visible through trans-
parent production and sometimes with a hop-growing museum. We
show three breweries in Bristol, Tettnang and Montreal, whose tapro-
oms showcase transparency, diversity, sustainability and inclusivity.
