Ein historisches Gewölbe in Mainz bietet Weinliebhabern den pas-
senden Ort zur sicheren und fachgerechten Lagerung ihrer wertvoll-
sten Tropfen. Darüber hinaus sieht sich die Winebank als Treffpunkt
für ihre Mit glieder, die rund um die Uhr Zutritt haben. Kunstwerke,
Designer möbel und ein stimmiges Licht- und Soundkonzept sorgen
dabei für eine angemessen exklusive Atmosphäre. Der verantwortli-
che Ar chi tekt Matthias Hohl vom Frankfurter Büro exitecture berichtet
über den Entwurf und die Umsetzung dieser besonderen Bauaufgabe.

A historic vault in Mainz offers wine aficionados a suitable venue
for the safe and expert storing of their most valuable vines. The
WineBANK furthermore sees itself as a meeting place for its mem-
bers which have access around the clock. Works of art, designer
furniture and a harmonious light- and sound concept ensure the
appropriate exclusive atmosphere. The architect who was in char-
ge, Matthias Hohl from the Frankfurt exitecture office, tells about
the design and the accomplishing of this special construction task.
