An das Geldinstitut Banco Zaragozano erinnert heute nur noch der in
Stein gemeißelte Name über der Eingangsrotunde. Seit Januar prangt
auf dem D ach des zehngeschossigen Altbaus aus den 1 920er-Jahren
das weithin sic htbare L ogo der C aixaBank. In Zeiten der Bank en -
fusionen wechseln auch Bankimmobilien den Besitz er. Profitiert hat
von diesem W andel der Architekt Francesc Rifé aus Bar celona. Seit
2013 konzipiert er die Flagship-Filialen der CaixaBank. Die jüngste
wurde Anfang des Jahres an Zaragozas Placa España eröffnet.

All that today reminds of the Banco Zaragozano financial institute is
name set in s tone abo ve the ent rance rotunda. S ince January, the
CaixaBank logo visible from afar has been emblazoned on the roof of
the old ten-storey building from the 1920s. In times of bank mergers,
bank real estate also changes hands. Barcelona architect Francesc Rifé
profited from this change. Since 2013, he has been designing the flag-
ship branches of CaixaBank. The most recent one was opened at Plaça
de España in Zaragoza at the beginning of the year.
