Grand Egyptian Museum in Kairo ...

In unmittelbarer Nähe der Pyramiden von Gizeh eröffnete Anfang
November das Grand Egyptian Museum mit einer feierlichen Zere-
monie seine Pforten. Es ist das größte Museum, das einer einzigen
Zivilisation gewidmet ist. Die Architektur stammt vom irischen Büro
heneghan peng architects, das Ausstellungskonzept vom Stuttgarter
Atelier Brückner. „Zu wissen, dass unsere Arbeit Teil dieses kulturellen
Erbes ist, erfüllt mich mit großem Stolz“, sagt Shirin Frangoul-Brück-
ner, die Geschäftsführerin und Mitbegründerin von Atelier Brückner.

Located near the Pyramids of Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum
opened its doors with a festive ceremony in early November this
year. It is the largest museum dedicated to just a single civilizati-
on. The architecture is by the Irish firm heneghan peng architects,
and the exhibition concept by Stuttgart-based Atelier Brückner.
