Beginn der Corona-Pandemie verstärkt Wert auf Hygiene und Sicherheit. Das fängt an in
den Foyers, setzt sich fort in den Büros fort und macht in Sanitärräumen besonders viel
Sinn. Der Schweizer Badspezialist Laufen hat zu diesem Zweck die Armatur Curvetronic
ins Portfolio geholt. Der Name kommt nicht von ungefähr, denn die verchromte, robust
wirkende Armatur nimmt in weitem Bogen die Kurve – die Ausladung beträgt 135 Millime-
ter – und sie funktioniert elektronisch. Der berührungslose Waschtischmischer wird durch
eine Infrarot-Technologie aktiviert. Diese lässt das Wasser fließen, sobald sich Hände in
ihrem „Radarbereich“ befinden. Intuitiv bedienbar, wird jeglicher Kontakt mit der Ober-
fläche vermieden. Lediglich die Temperatur ist, falls gewünscht, mechanisch zu regeln.
Ganz der Hygiene verpflichtet, kann Curvetronic außerdem leicht gereinigt werden.

as hands are within its “detection range”. Intuitively operated, any contact with the
surface is avoided. Only the temperature, if desired, can be adjusted manually. Com-
mitted to hygiene, Curvetronic is also easy to clean.
