Für das Treppenhaus der Unternehmenszentrale von Union Invest ment in

Frankfurt am Main wurde eine Raum gra fik entwickelt, die sich über 21 Ge -

schosse hinweg erstreckt. Die Arbeit stellt den Versuch dar, die Entwick -

lung eines umfassenden Ordnungsverständnisses der uns umgebenden

Welt zu illus trieren. Sie ist in fünf Episoden unter teilt: Chaos, Felder, Netz -

werk, Hyper räu me und Multi ver sen. Das Thema „Felder“ symbolisiert die

Ent stehung erster Wissenschaften basierend auf der klassischen euklidi -

schen Geo metrie – hochspezialisiert, unzusammenhängend und ohne

ganzheitliche Be trachtung. Das Chaos (Episode I), aus dem sich das Leben

formt, wird durch starre, lineare Gleichungen durchdrungen.

A spatial graphic stretching across 21 levels was developed for the stair-
case of the Union Investment Headquarters in Frankfurt / Main. The

project represents the attempt to illustrate the development of a com-

prehensive sense of order of the world surrounding us. It is divided into

five episodes: chaos, fields, network, hyperspace, and multiverses. The

theme of “fields” symbolises the emergence of first sciences, based on

the classic Euclidean geometry – highly specialised, incoherent and

without a holistic approach. The chaos (Episode I), from which life aris-

es, is penetrated by rigid, linear equations.
