GESUNDHEITSKIOSKE IN THÜRINGEN: BAUKULTUR FÜR INFORMATION UND GEGEN ISOLATION

D ie gesundheitliche Versorgung auf dem Land ist bekanntlich schlechter als in Bal-
lungszentren: zu wenige Ärzte, zu weite Wege ... Im Rahmen der IBA Thüringen
konnten Pasel-K Architects vier Gesundheitskioske in der Dorfregion Seltenrain bauen.
Diese dienen nicht nur als Beratungsstellen in Urleben, Kirchheilingen, Blankenburg und
Bruchstedt, sondern wirken seitdem auch der sozialen Isolation älterer Menschen ent-
gegen. Gut erreichbar befinden sich die Gesundheitskioske stets an Bushaltestellen. Die
dank Solarenergie klimaneutralen, unbehandelten Holzpavillons sind eine Initiative der
Stiftung Landleben/Landengel e.V. und waren nominiert für den DAM Preis 2024. wa

T he provision of healthcare in rural areas is notoriously worse than in urban cen-
tres: not enough doctors, too far to travel ... As part of the IBA Thüringen, Pasel-K
Architects were able to build four health kiosks in the region of Seltenrain. These not
only serve as counselling centres in Urleben, Kirchheilingen, Blankenburg and Bruch-
stedt, but have also helped to counteract the social isolation of older people. The
health kiosks are always located at bus stops for easy accessibliity. The untreated
wooden pavilions, which are climate-neutral thanks to solar energy, are an initiative of Fotos: Thomas Müller
the Landleben/Landengel e.V. foundation and were nominated for the DAM Preis 2024.
