M it dem Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI) entsteht in Heilbronn aktuell
ein Leuchtturmprojekt für angewandte künstliche Intelligenz – das ambitionier-
teste seiner Art in Europa. Den ersten Meilenstein dieses wegweisenden KI-Ökosystems
markieren die IPAI Spaces: Sie sind der Auftakt für den künftigen, 23 Hektar großen Cam-
pus. Um Unternehmen und Start-ups hier eine inspirierende Arbeitsumgebung zu bieten,
gestaltete Süd.Com ein innovatives Co-Working-Office mit etwa 200 Plätzen, in dem sich
Strukturen frei entfalten können, interdisziplinärer Austausch gezielt gefördert und Raum
für Begegnung geöffnet wird. Dabei spiegeln sich Elemente des Corporate Designs und des
kreisförmigen Campusgeländes in der Innenarchitektur wider: Runde Formen und pastel-
lige Töne prägen die Räume, nachhaltige Materialien wie recyclingfähige Teppichfliesen
und Naturkautschukböden zonieren die Flächen. Sichtbetondecken mit offenen Installati-
onen betonen den industriellen Charakter des Gebäudes, flexible Vorhangsysteme sowie
modulare Möbel unterstützen variable Nutzungsszenarien, während Think Tanks und
Telefonzellen Rückzugsräume schaffen. Ergänzt wird das Konzept durch ein Café, Aufent-
haltsbereiche, vielseitige Veranstaltungs- und Workshopräume, einen Ausstellungsbereich
sowie ein Reallabor für interaktive KI-Demonstrationen. So entsteht ein Ort, der zeigt:
Gegenseitige Inspiration ist die vornehmliche Rechenleistung, die im IPAI den Ton angibt.

T he Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI) in Heilbronn is developing a flagship
project for applied artificial intelligence – the most ambitious in Europe. The IPAI
Spaces mark the first milestone in this ground-breaking AI ecosystem: they are the pre-
lude to the future 23-hectare campus. To offer companies and start-ups an inspiring wor-
king environment here, Süd.Com designed an innovative co-working office with around
200 workstations, where structures can develop freely, interdisciplinary exchange is spe-
cifically promoted and space for encounters is opened up. Elements of the corporate
design and the circular campus grounds are reflected in the interior design: Round shapes
and pastel tones characterize the rooms, while sustainable materials such as recyclable
carpet tiles and natural-rubber flooring divide the space into zones. Exposed-concrete
ceilings with open installations emphasize the industrial character of the building, flexi-
ble curtain systems and modular furniture support variable-usage scenarios, while think
tanks and telephone booths create retreats. The concept is complemented by a café,
lounge areas, versatile event- and workshop rooms, an exhibition area and a real-world
laboratory for interactive AI demonstrations. The result is a place that shows that mutual
inspiration is the primary computing power that sets the tone at the IPAI.
