E ine Nachricht oder spannende Story der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen, ist
längst nicht mehr nur das Kerngeschäft von Verlagshäusern: Mit der Etablierung
von Social Media sind neben altbekannten Print-Produkten heutzutage vor allem digital
verbreitete Inhalte relevant. Im Zuge dessen hat sich der Berufszweig des Content-
Creators entwickelt, der mit Fotostorys und Videoclips ein stetig wachsendes Publikum
erreicht. Um diesen Kreativen wie auch jungen Filmemachern eine geeignete Plattform
für die persönliche Entwicklung und die Produktion eigener Projekte bieten zu können,
entstand die Kreativwerkstatt Matchbox. Auf 900 Quadratmetern finden Nutzer hier
ein Filmstudio, Büroräume, Schnittstudios und einen Seminarbereich mit großzügiger
Lobby und Bartresen, der sich auch als repräsentativ-geselliger Ort für Veranstaltungen
und Filmvorführungen eignet. Inspiriert von der technoiden Ästhetik historischer und
zeitgenössischer Druckmaschinentechnik lieferte das Studio Beauty Bloody Bonza eine
Innenraumgestaltung, die mit matten bis glänzend-spiegelnden Metalloberflächen,
Hell-Dunkel-Kontrasten und hinterleuchteten, transluzenten Wandverkleidungen für
einen futuristischen Habitus sorgt. Orangefarbene Akzente und bewegliche Wand- und
Drehtürelemente aus Acrylzylindern setzen zusätzliche Innenausbau-Highlights und
beleben die ansonsten überwiegend in Graunuancen gehüllte Matchbox-Szenerie.

M aking news or exciting stories accessible to the public is no longer the exclusive
domain of publishing houses. With the establishment of social media, digitally
disseminated content has become especially relevant today, alongside traditional print
products. In the course of this development, the profession of the content creator has
emerged, reaching a steadily growing audience with photo stories and video clips. In
order to provide these creative minds, as well as young filmmakers, with a suitable
platform for personal development and the production of their own projects, the crea-
tive workshop Matchbox was set up. Spanning 900 square meters, users here can find
a film studio, office spaces, editing studios and a seminar area with a spacious lobby
and bar counter, which also serves as a prestigious and social space for events and film
screenings. Inspired by the techy aesthetics of historical and contemporary printing press
technology, the studio Beauty Bloody Bonza conceived an interior design that creates a
futuristic ambiance with matte to glossy mirrored metal surfaces, light-dark contrasts and
backlit translucent wall coverings. Orange colour accents together with wall and revolving
door elements made of movable acrylic cylinders add additional fitout highlights and
enliven the Matchbox setting that is otherwise predominantly finished in shades of grey.
