Spannende Freiform und eindrucksvolle Fassade • Exciting free form and impressive façade

M ittels eindrucksvoller Freiform in pixelähnlicher Gestalt fungiert
das neue Hauptquartier der Durst Phototechnik AG im italieni-
schen Bozen künftig als Visitenkarte des Unternehmens. Die rund 6.000
Quadratmeter Fläche statteten die Architekten von monovolume archi-
tecture + design auf sechs Geschossen mit Laboren, Showrooms, Mee-
ting-, Büro- und Schulungsräumen aus. Um der weißen Fassade einen
konträren Gegenpart im Innenraum zu geben, wurde das Interieur über-
wiegend in Schwarz gehalten – ein Gestaltungselement, was plakativ
die Unternehmensphilosophie in architektonischer Form vermitteln soll.
Schwarz steht dabei als Nichtfarbe dem Weißen – der Summe aller Far-
ben – gegenüber. Alle Türenelemente im Headquarter wurden mit Band-
technik und Beschlägen von Simonswerk versehen. Durch die Verwen-
dung der Produkte des Beschlagsystems Tectus Glas wird ein fluides Er-
scheinungsbild erzeugt, bei dem Ganzglastüren, Zargen, Band- und
Schließsysteme in einer Ebene liegen. Die Produktfamilie beinhaltet das
Bandsystem Tectus TEG 310 2D, die kontakt- sowie geräuschlose Schlie-
ßung Keep Closed, die über ein Magnetsystem ohne Strom auskommt,
und die passenden, farblich abgestimmten Griffvarianten KCH 1200 und
1700. Dank seiner besonderen Klemmtechnik können Belastungen von
bis zu 80 Kilogramm pro Paar Bandsystem aufgenommen werden. Eine

volume architecture + design have planned the area of approximately
6,000 square metres on six floors with laboratories, showrooms, mee-
ting-, office- and training rooms. To supply the white façade with a
contrary counterpart inside, the interior was mainly kept in black – a
design element which is to strikingly communicate the company phi-
losophy in an architectural form. Black as a non-colour contrasts
white – the sum of all colours. All the door elements in the headquar-
ters have been equipped with hinge technology and fittings by Si-
monswerk. By using the products from the Tectus Glass fitting system,
a fluid appearance is produced where all-glass doors, frames, hinge-
and locking systems are on one level. The product family includes the
Tectus TEG 310 2D hinge system, the contactless and silent Keep Clo-
sed locking system which does not need electricity due to a magnetic
system and the matching, colour-coordinated KCH 1200 and 1700
handle variants. Thanks to a special clamping technology, loads of up
to 80 kilogrammes can be handled per pair of hinge systems. In this
case, there is no need for processing the glass, which makes a flexible
and simple installation of all-glass doors possible.
