N ach dem Erfolg des ersten Fyra-Concept-Stores im Stuttgarter Einkaufszentrum
Gerber eröffnete im März dessen Nachfolger im Dorotheenquartier – in eindeutig
edlerer Umgebung. Und wieder durfte das Team von LAR Studio den Store gestalten. Mit
der Mission, „die Welt zu einem schöneren und nachhaltigeren Ort zu machen“, werden
Produkte mit hohem Anspruch an minimalistisches Design angeboten – immer mit Fokus
auf Nachhaltigkeit und Wertigkeit. Das aktuelle Fyra-Sortiment umfasst schlicht-eleganten
Schmuck, nachhaltiges Fashion Design, puristische Accessoires und Taschen aus pflanz-
lich gegerbtem Leder, textile Kunst wie Teppiche, handgefertigte Keramika, Papeterie
sowie vegane Organic Beauty made in Germany. Dies alles wird angemessen präsentiert
in einem Spiel aus Kontrasten: weich und hart, leicht und schwer, silbern und farbenfroh,
kühl und warm – was zu einer hohen Dichte an Möglichkeiten auf kleinstem Raum führt.
Zwei Elemente dominieren: das modulare Stecksystem aus zweckentfremdeten Gitterros-
ten und die farblich und tektonisch kontrastierende Theke aus Pflastersteinen. Der weiche
Teppich in der Fyra-CI-Farbe bietet beidem eine adäquate Bühne, während die zurückhal-
tende Beleuchtung das Ganze aus dem dunklen „Off“ in Szene setzt. Nussbaum-Vierkant-
stäbe und Natursteinplatten fügen ein Quentchen Luxuriösität sowie Farbakzente hinzu
und veredeln die nachhaltige, reversible Low-Budget-Lösung. Mehr davon!
F ollowing the success of the first Fyra concept store in Stuttgart’s Gerber shopping
centre, the second store opened in March – this time in the more upscale Dorotheen-
quartier. Once again, the team from LAR Studio had the honour of designing the store.
With the mission “to make the world a more beautiful and more sustainable place” , the
store offers products with a high standard of minimalist design – always with a focus on
sustainability and quality. The current Fyrarange includes simple and elegant jewellery,
sustainable fashion design, minimalist accessories and bags made from vegetable-tanned
leather, textile art such as rugs, handcrafted ceramics, stationery and vegan organic beau-
ty products made in Germany. All of this is appropriately presented in an interplay of
contrasts: soft and hard, light and heavy, silver and colourful, cool and warm – resulting in
a high density of possibilities in a very small space. Two elements dominate: the modular
plug-in system made of repurposed gratings and the counter made of paving stones,
which contrasts in colour and tectonics. The soft carpet in the Fyra’s CI colour provides
an appropriate stage for both, while the restrained lighting sets the scene against a dark
backdrop. Walnut square rods and natural stone slabs add a touch of luxury and colour
accents, refining the sustainable, reversible low-budget solution. More of this, please!
