Zentralheizung, Telefonplätze, elektrisches Licht: Im Eröffnungsjahr
1912 galt das Hauptgebäude des Wiener Bankvereins an der Ring-
straße als modernstes Bankhaus seiner Zeit. Dreh- und Angelpunkt
war die ehrwürdige Kassenhalle im Erdgeschoss des Prachtbaus.
Heute wird hier Geld ausgegeben statt angespart – vor Kurzem ist ein
Nobel-Supermarkt eingezogen. Unter den wachsamen Augen des
Denkmalamts setzten Kulmus Bügelmayer Interior & Architecture
aus Dornbirn hier ein anspruchsvolles Ladenbaukonzept um.

Central heating, telephone stations, electric light: in 1912, the year it
was opened, the main building of the Wiener Bankverein was consi-
dered the most modern bank of its time. The focal point was the ve-
nerable teller hall on the ground floor of the magnificent building.
Today, money is spent here instead of saved – a posh supermarket re-
cently moved in. Under the watchful eye of the monument preserva-
