M it W5 hat der Bürostuhlhersteller Wagner aus Langenneufach den
ersten Carbon-Bürostuhl der Welt entwickelt. In Zusammenarbeit
mit Spezialisten aus der Carbonindustrie kommen bei W5 modernste
Techno logien zum Einsatz. Die ultradünne Rückenspange aus dem
extrem harten Material verleiht dem Bürostuhl sein filigranes und leichtes
Erscheinungsbild. Die Rückenlehne, bestehend aus einem atmungsakti-
ven 3-D-Netzstrickgewebe, wird nur an insgesamt sechs Punkten aufge-
hängt und über den Rückenbügel gespannt. Dadurch nimmt die Rücken -
lehne den Nutzer optimal auf, schränkt aber in keinster Weise die Bewe -
gungs frei heit ein. Außerdem ist der W5 mit dem dreidimensionalen
Dondola®-Sitzgelenk ausgestattet. Dieses entkoppelt die starre Verbin -
dung zum Stuhl unterteil und sorgt während des Sitzens für Mikro bewe -
gungen, die die Wirbelsäule entlasten und kräftigen. Im Wechsel spiel von
Ruhe und Bewegung entsteht ein entlastendes Wohlgefühl. Laut einer
wissenschaftlichen Studie soll das Dondola®-Sitzgelenk die Rücken -
gesund heit nachhaltig unterstützen. Demnach sind bei 66 Prozent der
Probanden die Rückenschmerzen zurückgegangen, was zu einer signi -
fikanten Steigerung des allgemeinen Wohlbefindens um bis zu 39 Prozent
führt. W5 ist aufgrund zahlreicher Ausstattungsvarianten individuell
anpassbar: Die Sitzfläche ist gepolstert, in Leder oder zahlreichen Stoff -
varianten und -farben erhältlich, der Rücken außerdem mit Netz bespan -
nung. Mattes Aluminium ergänzt das hochwertige Erscheinugnsbild. ps

W ith W5, the manufacturer of office chairs Wagner in
Langenneufach has developed the first carbon office chair in
the world. In collaboration with specialists from the carbon industry,
for W5 the latest technologies are applied. The ultra-thin back brace of
the extremely hard material gives the office chair its filigree and light-
weight appearance. The backrest, consisting of breathable 3D mesh
fabric, is only suspended on a total of six points and stretched over the
back brace. Due to this, the backrest optimally adjusts to the users but
in no way restricts their mobility. W5 is furthermore equipped with the
three-dimensional Dondola®-seat joint. This decouples the rigid con-
nection to the base of the chair and ensures micro movements during
sitting which relieve the strain on the spinal column and strengthen it.
In the interplay of rest and motion, a relieving sense of well-being is
produced. According to a scientific study, the Dondola® seat joint
sustainably supports back health. Back pains have thus diminished in
66 percent of the test persons which results in a significant increase of
the general well-being by up to 39 percent. Due to its numerous equip-
ment variants, W5 can be individually adjusted: The seat is available
as upholstered, with leather or many types of fabrics and colours, the
backrest additionally with a mesh covering. Matte aluminium comple-
ments the high-quality look.
