D as internationale Team des WFP (World Food Programme) Innovation Accelerator
arbeitet seit 2016 an dem globalen Ziel „Zero Hunger by 2030“. Dazu sind nun im
Herzen Münchens – nach einer Konzeption von INpuls – auf rund 500 Quadratmetern
maßgeschneiderte Räume für dieses Start-up entstanden. Das Kernteam des Büros
umfasst derzeit 16 Mitarbei ter, die regelmäßig in mehrwöchigen „Feldeinsätzen“ im Aus -
land unterwegs sind. Zusätzlich stoßen immer wieder Projektteams für mehrtägige Work -
shops oder mehrwöchige Projektarbeiten dazu. Somit galt es ein Umfeld zu schaffen, das
sowohl kurzzeitig einen einladenden Coworking-Space als auch langfristig die Möglich -
keit einer Desk-Sharing-Struktur bietet. Keine leichte Aufgabe, denn geplant werden
musste in einem Spannungs feld zwischen hohem gestalterischen Anspruch an identität-
gebende, flexible Räume, einem geringen Budget und zeitlichem Druck. Für die Viel zahl
an Einbauten und Möbeln entschied sich INpuls für das preisgünstige Material Seekiefer-
Sperrholz. Dank durchdachter Details konnte der Innenausbau schlussendlich ohne
gestalterische Abstriche produziert werden. Weiße Wand- und Decken gestaltung bildet
einen ruhigen Rahmen für Grüninseln, Wand grafiken, mobile Sitzinseln und die als
beschreibbare Magnetwand ausgebildete Schiebetür. Frisches Gelb setzt im Farb- und
Materialkonzept aus Weiß, Schwarz, Grau, Grün und Holz fröhlich-prägnante Akzente.

S ince 2016, the international team from the WFP Innovation Accelerator has been
working on the global objective Zero Hunger by 2030. For this purpose and
according to plans by INpuls, custom-made premises measuring approximately 500
square metres have been designed for this start-up company. The core team of the
office currently consists of 16 employees. Project teams for workshops lasting several
days and project tasks lasting several weeks regularly join the Munich group. That is
why the aim was to design an environment which temporarily offers welcoming co-
working space as well as a long-term desk-sharing structure. A challenging task since
the planning had to be done with conflicting priorities: a high creative claim with
identity-building, flexible rooms and a small budget as well as time constraints. For
the large number of installations and furniture, INpuls decided in favour of the eco-
nomical material maritime-pine plywood. Thanks to well thought-out details, in the
end it was possible to produce the interior furnishings without any creative compro-
mises. White wall- and ceiling design provides a calm background for green islands,
wall graphics, mobile seating ensembles and the sliding door which consists of a
magnetic wall that can be written on. Fresh yellow adds cheerful-striking accents to
the colour- and material concept of white, black, grey, green and wood.
