D er neue Indoor-Sonnenschutz von Ronan und Erwan Bouroullec
für Kvadrat punktet mit einem klaren wie eleganten Design, einer
großen Farbpalette und einer einfachen Bedienung. Roller Blinds re -
flektiert und absorbiert zuverlässig das einfallende Licht und kann so
individuell Helligkeit, Temperatur und Blendung am Arbeitsplatz
regulieren. Das maßgefertigte System verfügt über eine Kassette aus
eloxiertem oder pulverbeschichteten Aluminium in vier Farben, die
ohne sichtbare Schrau ben an Wand, Decke oder in der Fenster lai bung
montiert werden kann. Bedient wird Roller Blinds mit einem
Kettenzug aus Stahl oder Edelstahl, einer Tastervariante oder über
eine Fern be die nung. In der Auswahl der Textilien entschieden sich
die Designer für drei Stoffarten in insgesamt 18 Farben: Stratus — ein
glänzendes Verdunk e lungs ge webe, Nim bus — ein technisches Gewebe
mit aluminiumbeschichteter Rück seite und Cu mu lus — ein acrylbe-
schichtetes Textil mit dezentem Fasermuster. Ein zwei Zenti me ter
breites Band an der abschließenden Rollo-Unter kante kann ganz nach
Wunsch zusätzliche Farb ak zente setzten. Mit diesen vielfältigen
Variations mög lichkeiten findet sich für jede Raumge staltung ein pas-
sender Sonnenschutz. Ein nachträglicher Wechsel des Rollo -Stoffes ist
ohne Ausbau der Kassette möglich. Alle zur Auswahl stehenden
Textilen entsprechen nachweislich EN 14500 und 14501 und sind
somit für den Ein satz in Büro räumen geeignet. hs

T he new indoor sun protection developed by Ronan and Erwan
Bouroullec for Kvadrat scores with a design which is a clear as it is
elegant, a large range of colours and easy operating on top of it. Roller
Blinds reliably reflect and absorb the light that penetrates a room and
are thus able to individually control brightness, temperature and glare
at the workplace. The custom-made system has a cassette of anodised
or powder-coated aluminium that is available in four colours and can
furthermore be mounted without visible screws onto a wall, a ceiling or
inside the window reveal. Roller Blinds is operated with a chain of steel
or stainless steel, a switch or, as a further option, by remote control.
From the choice of textiles, the designers decided in favour of three
types of fabric in a total of 18 colours. Nimbus — a technical fabric with
aluminium-coated backing, and Cumulus — an acrylics-coated fabric
with a visible subdued fibre pattern. If requested, a two centimetres
wide band at the bordering lower edge of the blind can be supplied for
adding even more colour accents. With that large number of possible
variations to choose from, everyone will certainly find the suitable sun
protection for any room design. Changing of the blind fabric at some
later point in time is possible without even dismounting the cassette.
All the textiles which are available verifiably correspond to EN 14500
and 14501 standards and are thus suitable for being installed in offices.
