V om grau eingefärbten Mikrozement über das weiß gebeizte Eichenparkett domi-
nieren freundlich warme Pastelltöne die frisch renovierte Dachgeschosswoh-
nung im Münchner Universitätsviertel. An den offenen Wohn- und Essbereich grenzt
der „Fashion-Trakt“ mit großzügiger Ankleide – deren Einbauschränke, als Arrange-
ment mit der Dachschräge, dafür Sorge tragen, dass dieser Stilreinheit nichts im
Wege steht – und einem Schlafzimmer, das es buchstäblich in sich hat: Eine einseitig
verglaste Umkleidekabine, die mit ihrer Extravaganz an die vielen kleinen Boutiquen
der neubarocken Nachbarschaft erinnert, steht hier in direkter Blickbeziehung zum
Ehebett des modebegeisterten Paares. Vertrauen, Intimität, Partnerschaft, Regenera-
tion – das Möbelstück Bett fasst die Konnotationen des Schlafzimmers vollständig
zusammen, doch kein Grund, sich darauf auszuruhen, dachten sich INpuls-Inhaberin
Réka Visnyei und ihre Mitarbeiterin Theresa Hardege und artikulierten den Schlaf-
bereich mit dieser ambivalenten Pluralität räumlich neu. Das dynamische Sma-
ragdgrün bietet dem Purismus die Stirn und kontrastiert, ähnlich dem signalfarbenen
Wandteppich im Essbereich, mit der weichen Färbung des restlichen Interieurs. Die
offene Zweiteilung erzeugt eine Spannung die, weniger augenfällig als beim Bad en
suite, mit einem Hauch Erotik versehen ist. Alles andere als zum Einschlafen.

F rom the grey-coloured micro-cement all the way to the white-stained oak parquet,
friendly, warm pastel shades dominate in the newly renovated penthouse flat located
in the university district of Munich. The open-designed living- and dining area borders
on the “fashion wing” with a spacious dressing area with built-in cupboards which are
arranged along the sloping ceiling and thus ensure that nothing obstructs this purity of
style. The bedroom amazes with a highly special feature: A dressing cubicle, which is gla-
zed on one side and with its extravagance reminds of the numerous small boutiques
found in the neo-baroque neighbourhood, is visually connected with the double bed of
the fashion-conscious couple. Trust, intimacy, partnership, regeneration – the bed com-
pletely summarizes the connotations of a bedroom; but that’s no reason to rest on this
accomplishment, INpuls owner Réka Visnyei and her employee Theresa Hardege felt and
that is why they ingeniously articulated the sleeping zone with this ambivalent plurality.
The dynamic emerald green defies the purism and, similar to the signal-coloured tapestry
hanging in the dining area, contrasts with the soft colouring of the rest of the furnishing.
The deliberate split produces a kind of tension which, less striking than in the ensuite
bathroom, also has a touch of eroticism. Anything but conducive to sleeping.
