Foto: Alexander Basile, Köln Noch bis ins Frühjahr hinein ist im Untergeschoss des Jüdischen Museums in Berlin die Licht-
und Soundinstal la tion res·o·nant des Düsseldorfer Künstlers Mischa Kuball zu sehen. Bisher
wur den die Räume von der Museumspädagogik genutzt. Mit der Arbeit feiert nun die soge -
nannte Rafael Roth Galerie ihre Eröffnung. Die neue Aus stel lungs fläche umfasst unter anderem
zwei der fünf von Daniel Libeskind geplanten Voids, jene 24 Meter hohen Leerräume, die den
Opfern der Schoah gewidmet sind. Kuballs kinetisches Licht- und Klang kunstwerk lädt die
Besucher ein, die neuen Räume zu entdecken. Die Interaktion der Besucher mit der Architektur
und der Kunst hat der Düsseldorfer Fotograf Alexander Basile kongenial eingefangen.

The light and sound installation “res-o-nant” by Düsseldorf artist Mischa Kuball is on display
in the basement of the Jewish Museum in Berlin until spring. Up to now, the rooms were
used for museum education purposes. With this artwork, the so-called Rafael Roth Gallery
celebrates its opening. The new exhibition space includes two of the five voids planned by
Daniel Libeskind, the 24-meter-high empty spaces dedicated to the victims of the Shoah.
Kuball's kinetic light and sound artwork invites visitors to discover the new spaces.
Photographer Alexander Basile from Düsseldorf captured the visitors' interaction with archi-
tecture and art in a congenial way.
