M it viel Liebe zum Detail entwarfen die Innenarchitekten von
Blocher Partners ein neues Konzept für die Young-Fashion-Etage
#missunderground im Untergeschoss des Damen modehauses Kaiser
in Freiburg. Bereits im Erdgeschoss beginnt eine modular aufgebaute
Lichtinstallation, die sich über den Rolltreppenbereich in das Unter -
geschoss zieht. Dort geht sie in die Deckenfläche über und vervielfacht
sich in einer Spiegelmatrix an der Rückwand. Eine geometrisch klare
und übersichtliche Raumstruktur ermöglicht auf der rund 1.200
Quadrat meter großen Fläche eine schnelle Orientierung. Bistro, Floh -
markt und ein Active-Sport-Bereich im Sporthallen-Ambiente bilden
den Kern, umgeben von einem quadratischen Laufweg. Für die
anschließenden Themenbereiche Contemporary, Feminin, Schuhe und
Urban Jeans lautete die Aufgabe, die Raum gestaltung so flexibel wie
möglich zu halten, um auf die häufig wechselnden Bedürfnisse der
jungen Zielgruppe eingehen zu können. Decken mon tierte Schienen -
systeme, Lamellenwände, die mit winkelförmigen Ablage elementen
bestückt werden können, oder nahezu beliebig kombinierbare Tetris-
Möbel bieten Individualisierungs möglichkeiten in der Waren präsen -
tation. Eines der wenigen fest installierten Elemente ist eine Schuh -
treppe, die als Ausstellungs- wie auch als Sitzmöbel genutzt wird. Für
die präzise Umsetzung der Entwurfsideen zeichnete die Ganter Interior
GmbH aus Waldkirch verantwortlich. lr
W ith great attention to detail, the interior designers at the archi-
tectural office Blocher Partners from Stuttgart designed a new
concept for the young fashion department #missunderground in the
basement of the women's fashion store Kaiser in Freiburg. A modular
lighting installation already starts on the ground floor and extends
across the escalator area to the basement. There it merges into the cei-
ling design and is multiplied by a mirror matrix on the rear wall. A geo-
metrically clear and well-arranged spatial layout enables quick orien-
tation on the approximately 1,200 square meter area. A bistro, a flea
market and an activity area in the sports hall ambience form the core
of the department, which is surrounded by a square circulation area.
For the adjoining thematic areas of Contemporary, Feminine, Shoes,
and Urban Jeans, the task was to keep the interior design as flexible
as possible in order to be able to respond to the frequently changing
