Rekordjahr! Mit mehr als 430.000 Be su chern
aus der ganzen Welt war die aktuelle Ausga-
be der Mailänder Möbelmesse so gut besucht
wie schon lange nicht mehr. Für die Aussteller
hieß das: gute Geschäfte und viel Aufmerk-
samkeit für ihre Produkte. Für die Besucher
be deutete es: Gedränge und lange Schlan gen
al ler orten! Auch wir haben uns tags über
durch die Messe gedrückt und am Abend
durch die Stadt geschoben. Was wir da bei an
neuen und skurrilen Trends entdeckt haben,
stellen wir auf den nächsten Seiten vor.

Record year! With more than 430,000 visi-
tors from all over the world, this year' s edi-
tion of the Milan Furniture Fair attracted
more visitors than in a long time. For the
exhibitors, this meant good business and a
lot of attention for their products. For the
visitors it meant: crowds and long queues
everywhere! We, too, pushed our way
through the exhibition during the day and
through the city in the evening. The new
and bizarre trends we have discovered are
presented on the following pages.
