Das historische, ehemalige Haupttelegraphenamt an der Monbijou-
straße in Berlin-Mitte gehört zu den bedeutendsten noch erhaltenen
Baudenkmälern der Jahrhundertwende. Nach dem Verkauf an einen
Investor wurde der monumentale Gebäudekomplex im Stil der Neo-
gotik saniert und als Teil des Forums Museumsinsel um- und ausge-
baut. Dreimeta aus Augsburg konnten in einem Seitenflügel das Hotel
Telegraphenamt realisieren. Die 100 Zimmer und Suiten sowie die
Gastronomie gestalteten sie bewusst im eklektizistischen Stil-Mix.

The historic former main telegraph office on Monbijoustraße in Ber-
lin-Mitte is one of the most important architectural monuments from
the turn of the century still standing. After being sold to an investor,
the monumental building complex was renovated in the neo-Gothic
style and converted and extended as part of the Forum an der Muse-
umsinsel. Dreimeta from Augsburg planned the Hotel Telegraphen-
amt in a side wing. They deliberately designed the 100 rooms and
suites as well as the restaurant in an eclectic mix of styles.
