Für das Treppenhaus der Unternehmenszentrale von Union Invest ment in

Frankfurt am Main wurde eine Raum gra fik entwickelt, die sich über 21 Ge -

schosse hinweg erstreckt. Die Arbeit stellt den Versuch dar, die Entwick -

lung eines umfassenden Ordnungsverständnisses der uns umgebenden

Welt zu illus trieren. Sie ist in fünf Episoden unter teilt: Chaos, Felder, Netz -

werk, Hyper räu me und Multi ver sen. Die Grafik des „Netzwerks“ symbo -

lisiert die Verknüpfung der unzusammenhängenden Felder (Episode II) zu

einem geometrischen Raum, einem dynamischen dreidimensionalen

Kons trukt, das Vielfalt und Kom plexität abbildet, jedoch zugleich auf die

simple Struktur der entsprechenden Verknüpfung verweist.

A spatial graphic stretching across 21 levels was developed for the stair-
case of the Union Investment Headquarters in Frankfurt / Main. The

project represents the attempt to illustrate the development of a com-

prehensive sense of order of the world surrounding us. It is divided into

five episodes: chaos, fields, network, hyperspace, and multiverses. The

graphics of “network” symbolise the connection of the incoherent fields

(Episode II) as a geometric space, a dynamic three-dimensional con-

struct, which represents variety and complexity, whilst simultaneously

pointing out the simple structure of the arising connection.
