di by Matteo Vercelloni La nuova collezione Concept di Casalgrande Padana reinterpreta il cemento liscio, o battuto di
cemento, materiale un tempo destinato quasi esclusivamente a spazi e ambienti industriali, che via,
via è stato impiegato sia per spazi commerciali, sia per interni domestici, in relazione al suo aspetto
austero e monocromatico, scandito dalle sfumature nuvolate date dalla tecnica di posa e dalla sua
lisciatura eseguita a mano o a macchina. Rispetto alle tradizionali pavimentazioni di cemento lisciato
la collezione Concept introduce la possibilità di estendere in verticale la stessa finitura offerta in sette
tonalità che ai grigi propri del materiale cementizio aggiunge il rosso scuro, un verde morbido e un
azzurro denso. Le lastre in vari formati permettono così di creare ambienti avvolgenti monomaterici
alternando i cromatismi tra le superfici o scegliendo un unico colore. Il carattere materico del
cemento unito alla durata e alle prestazioni del gres porcellanato, è interpretato in modo accurato in
Concept dove si ritrovano gli effetti e le sfumature proprie della posa e della lisciatura del cemento.
La versatilità di formati, tonalità, finiture e decori, conferiscono a Concept il ruolo di valido strumento
per costruire spazi e ambienti unici sia in interno, dove i colori unitari della collezione si affiancano in
modo complementare ad ogni stile per superfici orizzontali e verticali, sia in esterno, dove la finitura
bocciardata delle lastre in spessore 20 mm garantisce la necessaria proprietà antiscivolo.
The new Concept collection by Casalgrande Padana offers a fresh take on smooth concrete,
a material once used almost exclusively for industrial settings and environments that has
gradually gained ground also for both retail spaces and home interiors, where it is popular for
its plain, austere appearance marked by cloudy shading created by laying techniques and by the
smoothing process carried out either manually or mechanically. Compared to traditional smooth
concrete flooring, the Concept collection introduces the opportunity to also use the same finish
on walls, offering seven shades that range from the grey tones typical of concrete to a dark red,
a soft green and a profound blue. The different tile sizes offer the possibility to create inviting
single-material looks, alternating the colours from one surface to another, or opting for the
