W er an die Schulzeit zurückdenkt, hat gleich ein Klassenzimmer mit bestimmten
Stühlen und Tischen vor Augen. Genau dieses Gefühl verbinden SpanierInnen
mit den Produkten von Frederico Giner, einem Hersteller für Kinder-, Schul- und Büro-
möbel. Clap Studio aus Valencia hat die neue Officestruktur als immersiven Spaziergang
zwischen den Wolken konzipiert. Es entstand eine Umgebung, in der ein Gleichgewicht
zwischen Arbeit und Ruhe die Konzentration steigert. Mit dieser Idee kehrt die Möbelmar-
ke zu ihren Wurzeln zurück. Um Wolken darzustellen, kombinierte Clap Studio weiße
Metallgitterstrukturen, die den Raum in Abteilungen segmentieren, ohne geschlossene
Räume zu bilden, mit verschiebbaren Vorhängen in hellen Cremetönen, um den luftigen
Charakter zu unterstreichen. In Zusammenarbeit mit dem FG-Team wurde ein offenes
Bürokonzept entwickelt, was durch die subtil abtrennenden Elemente einerseits eine ste-
tige Kommunikation erlaubt und andererseits eine ruhige Einzelarbeit ermöglicht. Akzen-
te in der Corporate-Farbe Grün lockern die Räumlichkeiten auf und bringen die verspielte
Idee zurück auf den Boden der Tatsachen. Gleichzeitig leitet das Farbkonzept durch den
intensiveren Einsatz von Grün auf den Treppen in den Gemeinschafts- und Pausenbereich
im ersten Obergeschoss. Beim Aufstieg winkt einem so die Ruhepause auf der anderen
Seite der Wolkendecke — ein poetisches Detail in diesem metaphorischen Entwurf.

A nyone thinking back to their schooldays immediately pictures a classroom with
certain chairs and desks. It is precisely this feeling that Spaniards associate with
the products of Frederico Giner, a manufacturer of children’s, school and office furniture.
Clap Studio from Valencia has designed the brand’s new office structure as an immersive
walk among the clouds. The result is an environment where a balance between work
and rest enhances concentration. With this concept, the furniture brand returns to its
roots. To evoke clouds, Clap Studio combined white metal grid structures, which divide
the space into different zones without creating enclosed rooms, with movable curtains in
light cream shades to emphasise the airy character. In collaboration with the FG team,
an open-plan office concept was developed, which, on the one hand, allows constant
communication through the subtly separating elements and, on the other hand, enables
focused individual work. Accents in the brand’s corporate green enliven the space and
bring the playful idea back down to earth. At the same time, the colour concept uses a
more intense application of green on the stairs to lead to the communal and break areas
on the first floor. Climbing up, one is greeted by the promise of rest on the other side of
the cloud cover – a poetic detail in this metaphorical design.
