A uf rund 10.000 Quadratmetern Fläche entstand in einem Ziegel-
bau von b720 Fermín Vázquez Architekten in Barcelona der neue
Bürostandort der französischen Firma Papernest. Hier werden den Mit-
arbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern des Start-ups eines Vertragsverwal-
tungstools vielseitige Arbeitswelten mit unter anderem einer Kantine,
Großraumbüros, abgeschotteten Räumen zur Konzentration und einer
großzügigen Dachterrasse geboten. Für die farbliche Gestaltung des
Raumkonzepts orientierten sich die Innenarchitektinnen und -architek-
ten von MisMAS Interiorismo aus der spanischen Hauptstadt an der
Corporate Identity von Papernest – sie ist nun auf der gesamten Büro-
fläche allgegenwärtig. In eben diesen farblichen Nuancen verleiht von
nun an eine dynamische Deckenskulptur von Kriskadecor dem indu-
striellen Charakter ein elegantes Erscheinungsbild mit einem außerge-
wöhnlichen Hingucker. Die markante Deckendekoration besteht aus
drei nebeneinander angeordneten, in ihrer Größe und Länge variieren-
den Zylindern aus den feingliedrigen Ketten von Kriskadecor. Das Sys-
tem ermöglicht die Produktion sämtlicher außergewöhnlicher Formen
wie Wellen, parallel verlaufender Strukturen und fantasievoller Körper.
Außerdem können Muster, Bilder oder Farbverläufe kreiert werden, die
bis zu vier verschiedene Farbtöne pro Zylinder enthalten. Dank des
neuen Slim-Aufhängungssystems mit diskretem rechteckigem Profil
wird die Konstruktion sicher und filigran an der Decke befestigt. pb
O n an area of about 10,000 square metres, the new office location
of the French Papernest company has been designed in a brick
building by b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos in Barcelona. This is
now where the employees of the start-up of a contract-administration
tool are offered versatile work environments and, among other featu-
res, a canteen, open-plan offices, screened rooms for concentrating
and a spacious roof terrace. For the colour design of the room con-
cept, the interior architects of MisMAS Interiorismo in Madrid took
their inspiration from the corporate identity of Papernest – this is now
omnipresent in the office. In the same colour nuances, a dynamic cei-
ling sculpture by Kriskadecor adds an elegant touch to the industrial
look with an unusual eyecatcher. The striking ceiling decoration con-
sists of three cylinders varying in their sizes and lengths, arranged
next to each other and composed of the filigree Kriskadecor chains.
