DESIGNAGENTUR
IN CURITIBA
Entwurf • Design Moca Arquitetura, BR-Curitiba

M ad Creative – the name says it all! With its creative packaging design, the design
agency, which is based in the centre of the South Brazilian city of Curitiba, helps
its well-known clients to attract attention at the point of sale, to arouse emotions and
purchase needs and to stand out from the competition. The design of their own packa-
ging – namely the interior design of the new office premises – is wisely left to the interior
architects from Moca Arquitetura. No less “mad creative”, Katia Azevedo and Ana Si-
korski are committed to the design of a uniform and memorable appearance and create
a dynamic working environment for the 262-square-metre office space of the expanding
agency, which sweetens the return from the home office to the traditional office routine
for the employees with a high-quality ambience. Coloured walls, glazed wood-based
panels and painted metal subdivide the open-plan layout; however, the zones are only
discreetly assigned their functions in order to maintain their flexible usability. “Stands”
made of wooden seating cubes occupies the wall area and offers places to sit down for
casual conversations and large presentations in the centre of the room – pink-tinted fol-
ding glass walls, on the other hand, allow acoustic separation for private conversations
without visually compromising the concept of flowing transition.
