Milan Design Week – für zuhause ...

Wenn die Mailänder Möbelmesse Salone del Mobile vom 17. bis 22. April ihre Tore öffnet,
lockt im gesamten Stadtgebiet der norditalienischen Metropole die Fuorisalone mit mehr
als 1.500 Veranstaltungen rund um das Design. Mit einem Brettspiel feiern die Macher
nun das 15-jährige Bestehen: Spieledesigner Lorenzo Tucci Sorrentino macht nicht nur
das Ausmaß dieses besonderen Formates deutlich, sondern lässt auch den Zauber der
zahlreichen Entdeckungen zu Frühlingsbeginn noch lange nachwirken.

Ebenfalls im Rahmen der Fuorisalone lädt Architekt Stefano Boeri zusammen mit der
Initiative space & interior in den Ausstellungsraum The Mall an der Piazza Lina Bo Bardi.
Jahr für Jahr wird ein Kurator aus der Architektur mit der Bespielung der 5.000 Quadrat -
meter großen Fläche beauftragt. Unter dem Motto „The future of living and the planet of
the future“ (Die Zukunft des Lebens und der Planet der Zukunft) nimmt uns Boeri mit auf
eine Reise zum Mars, um dort die Zukunft des Wohnens neu zu denken.

As part of Fuorisalone, too, architect Stefano Boeri and the space & interior initiative
invite visitors to the exhibition space “The Mall” at Piazza Lina Bo Bardi. Year after
