A uf in die Zukunft oder zurück in die Steinzeit? In Höhlen leben in der Regel nur
Maulwürfe und Hobbits! Jetzt hat Archstudio auch für die erdverbundenen – oder
eher lichtscheuen? – Zeitgenossen unter uns Menschen eine neuartige Wohnform er-
dacht – ausgerechnet im 28. Stock eines Hochhauses. Hinsichtlich des zunehmenden
Platzmangels kein schlechter Ansatz! Ob unser tief verwurzeltes Bedürfnis nach Nähe
zur Natur auf diese Weise gestillt werden kann? Bis das Konzept serienreif ist, genießen
wir das Ganze eben nur als Gast – natürlich ohne auf den Komfort von Heimkino samt
dem einen oder anderen gekühlten Drink aus der integrierten Minibar zu verzichten. yk

H eading for the future or back to the stone age? Usually only moles and hobbits
live in caves! Now Archstudio has conceived a new form of living for the earth-
loving – or rather light-averse(?) – contemporaries among us humans: on the 28th
floor of a high-rise building, of all places. Not a bad approach in view of the increa-
sing lack of space! Can our deeply rooted need for closeness to nature be satisfied
in this way? Until the concept is ready to go into series production, we enjoy the
whole thing as guests – of course without having to do without the comfort of a home
cinema including one or two chilled drinks from the integrated minibar.
