the layers and combination of the materials and the, to a large extent, untreated,

rough surfaces. Existing materials were not restored but kept as they were with all
their traces of usage. The delicate precise details of the installations contrast with the Lager
rough materials – a place that shows the traces of time and whose history is readable.
It is exactly what Bollinger wants: to simply add a new layer of time to what is old. Schnitt • Section
