D en Kopf frei kriegen – wo geht das im Berliner Büroalltag besser als über den Dä-
chern der Stadt? Mit Blick auf das Industriedenkmal Klingenberg und das Naherho-
lungsgebiet Rummelsbucht kann das Team dieser Unternehmensberatung auf einer
Dachterrassen-Landschaft „chillen“. Gut, zugegeben – so entspannt sieht die wetterfeste
Installation aus verzinkten Gitterrosten auf den ersten Blick nicht aus. Und ob man da
nach dem fünften Sundowner noch unfallfrei herunterkommt, sei auch dahingestellt.
Dennoch: Dem jungen Berliner Architekten Gustav Düsing ist die innovative Lounge-Kom-
bination aus industriellem Design mit integrierten Naturakzenten durchaus gelungen. kk

C lear your mind - is there a better place to do that than above the city’s rooftops?
With a view of the Klingenberg industrial monument and the Rummelsbucht re-
creational area, the team at this management consultancy can “chill out” on a roof
terrace. Well, admittedly — the weatherproof installation made of galvanized gratings
doesn’t look that relaxing at first glance. And it remains to be seen whether you can
still get down there without hurting yourself after the fifth sundowner. Nevertheless,
the young architect Gustav Düsing from Berlin has succeeded in creating an innova-
tive lounge combination combining industrial design with integrated natural features.
