Competition for architects and interior designers under the age of 35 <\/strong><\/p>\n Hamburg, 29th of June 2012 – For the second time already, the \u201cTile Award\u201d initiated by AIT and Agrob Buchtal invited young architects and interior designers under the age of 35 from all over Europe to give new and unprecedented thoughts to the use of tiles in the interior \u2013 and quite intentionally beyond the already described, traditional aesthetic.<\/p>\n More than 60 offices followed this invitation and ten of them made it into the second round \u2013 some of them as wildcard holders, some of them qualified in the first competition round. During a 5-day workshop at the Amalfi coast the participants had to further develop the first approaches into three-dimensional designs. The participants came from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Denmark, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, and China.<\/p>\n A renowned jury decided on workshop participants and award winners. The jury awarded three first prizes as well as one special prize in the three categories of \u201cHotel \/ Gastronomy\u201d, \u201cWellness \/ Spa\u201d and \u201cHealth \/ Care\u201d. These designs are now constructed and professionally photographed.
