The competition addresses architects and interior designers under the age of 35. The content of the competition task was to design new, unconventional and spectacular interiors by using tiles. The organisers looked for the most creative and exceptional ideas illustrating the varied design possibilities of this material. Architects and interior designers throughout Europe were invited to submit their designs. The design could be submitted as a drawing, photomontage or visualisation. If necessary, the participants had to hand in the original drawing, photomontage \/ visualisation as well as comments on their design. <\/p>\n<p>The design could be submitted as a drawing, photomontage or visualisation. The jury selected seven winners from the large number of high-quality submissions. Three special mentions were awarded additionally.<\/p>\n<p>The winners of the first phase were invited to a four-day workshop in Marrakech. In addition, the best designs of the workshop participants were realized and photographed in an elaborate photo shoot.<\/p>\n<div class=\"toggle\"><div class=\"title\"><i class=\"icon\"><\/i>CATEGORY 1<\/div><div class=\"inner\"><div class=\"content\">\n<h4>Living and Housing<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Eat-in kitchen for happy families<\/strong><br \/>\nA typical scenario, the small family moves into their own home. The category looks for an open-plan kitchen concept for a private home.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Barrier-free bathroom for the Generation 60+<\/strong><br \/>\nAs one gets older, the demands on bathroom and sanitary areas change. Accessibility is an important topic. What remains unchanged is the wish for design and aesthetic quality. The category looks for a bathroom for one\u2019s own grandparents or for a freely selectable representative of the Generation 60+.\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>The single loft<\/strong><br \/>\nLarge rooms, high ceilings, industrial character &#8211; an arbitrary area of a typical loft is given a new innovative design.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Villa in a green setting<\/strong><br \/>\nA gorgeous old villa in an urban location with generous rooms and ceilings adorned with stucco, occupied by a doctor\u2019s family. The task is to design the classic feel-good bathroom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"toggle\"><div class=\"title\"><i class=\"icon\"><\/i>CATEGORY 2<\/div><div class=\"inner\"><div class=\"content\">\n<h4>Spare time and public areas<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Shower area in a sports facility<\/strong><br \/>\nIn the sanitary area of public sports facilities functionality is particularly important. That is why the demand on design is unfortunately neglected all too often.<br \/>\nThe task is to redesign the shower area of the local football club or a comparable sports facility.\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Shop<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Coffee Shop next door, visited almost every day by stressed city slickers on their way to work. These mostly small premises often present a particularly interesting design task. Creative ideas are needed in all areas from the counter to the ceiling to the entrance area.\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>A feel-good Spa<\/strong><br \/>\nDay spas and hotels offer whole landscapes helping the guests to relax and unwind.
